What accommodation types does the Inverness Palace Hotel offer?
The hotel offers a range of rooms including Luxury River-View Double, River-View Twin, Classic Double, Classic Twin, Luxury Family Rooms, Cosy Double and Classic Single rooms. All are individually styled with comfort in mind.
What amenities are included in every room?
All rooms include comfortable beds, tea and coffee facilities, free Wi-Fi, a flat-screen TV, desk, iron and ironing board, hair dryer, and a smartphone charging point. Guests also enjoy complimentary access to the hotel’s leisure club. All rooms are non-smoking.

When are check-in and check-out? Is late check-out possible?
Check-in is from 3 pm and check-out is by 11 am. Late check-out may be arranged for a small fee (approx. £20) subject to availability.
Is breakfast included?
Rates including breakfast provide a full hot and cold Scottish buffet. Dinner-inclusive rates feature a table d’hôte menu. Dinner reservations should be booked in advance.
What is the cancellation policy?
Flexible rates can be cancelled free of charge until 4 pm on the day of arrival. Late cancellations may incur the first night’s charge. Advance purchase and promotional rates are non-refundable and non-transferable.
Is a deposit or pre-payment required?
A deposit or pre-payment may be required depending on the rate. All bookings must be guaranteed by a valid debit or credit card, and payment is usually taken on departure. Guests paying cash may be asked for a security deposit.
What are the policies for children?
Children under 12 stay free when sharing a family room with two paying adults. Meals for children aged 5–12 are charged separately. River-view rooms are excluded from the free child offer. Children in their own room are charged 50% of the adult rate (minimum £69.90).
Are pets allowed?
Dogs are welcome in bedrooms and reception areas for £15 per dog per night (maximum two dogs). Pets are not allowed in the bar, restaurant or leisure club. Guide and hearing dogs stay free of charge.
Does the hotel have parking and electric-vehicle charging?
Yes. There is a 22-space car park free for guests when available, plus six 22 kW electric charging points. Valet parking (~£6/day) and nearby on-street parking are available when full.
Are there accessible rooms?
Bedrooms are on the first floor or above with lift access. The separate townhouse (10 at the Palace) has no lift. Guests with accessibility needs should contact the hotel prior to booking.
Are the rooms non-smoking?
Yes, all rooms are strictly non-smoking.
Do rooms include Wi-Fi and other in-room equipment?

Bookings must be guaranteed with a credit or debit card. Mastercard, Visa and American Express are accepted; cheques are not.
Is there a leisure club, and can hotel guests use it?
Yes. All guests enjoy free access to the Palace Leisure Club, which includes a 50-foot swimming pool, steam room, sauna, jacuzzi and gym. Children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult; gym access is for guests 15+.
Are there any policies regarding damage or complaints?
Guests are responsible for any damage caused to rooms or furnishings. Any issues should be reported immediately to the duty manager. Complaints can also be submitted in writing to the General Manager.
