Food and Beverage Assistants (Flexible)

We are Looking for new team members to join our friendly Team. Are you a team player that is enjoys working in a friendly and lively food service team? – Yes – then we are looking to add you to our team! Most importantly we are looking firstly for friendly team members to provide a superior service experience to our guests serving coffees to cocktails, from breakfast to dinner in both the Brasserie or Eight on the River restaurant. To do this we are offering a wide variety of shifts that can fit with your schedule.

You’ll join a friendly team, with flexible working, opportunities to suit your abilities and lots of interesting experiences. In return you must have a desire to work and a positive attitude to our guests, experience is desirable but we will provide you a training more details here:

Contributing to a friendly, lively, team orientated atmosphere for colleagues in order to provide superior customer service to our guests
Serving coffee, drinks, cocktails, snacks & meals in our busy Ness Brasserie
Breakfast, lunch & dinner service in Eight on the River Restaurant
Working with all departments within the hotel to exceed guest expectations

Position Available

Breakfast shift – 6/7am – 11/12noon
Dinner shift – 5pm – 10/11pm
Bar shift – varies from 7am to 11pm
4-8 hour shifts
5 days out of 7 or Flexible shifts
Mornings, Evenings & Weekends available
Experience preferred but not essential as full training will be provided:

Customer Facing Experience

Part-time hours: 8-20 per week
Full-time hours: 32-42 per week

Full-Time Receptionists

We are looking for a full time or part time receptionist to join our team.

Must be able to work weekends. These positions are live out only.

Shift Patterns are 7am-3pm and 3pm -11pm – Occasional 10-6 depending on business needs.

Our ideal candidate will be:

Warm, friendly and confident with an eye for detail.
Someone who takes initiative and can work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
Have excellent verbal and written English.
Be computer literate.
Previous reception or admin experience is desired but not essential.
Oracle Opera experience is advantageous.

Your duties will include:

Perform additional tasks as assigned by supervisors or management.

Providing a friendly and customer orientated atmosphere for all guests during check in and check out.

Taking reservations over phone/email, knowing our packages, room types and policies and turning enquiries into sales.

Communicating guest needs and any changes to all departments daily.

Answering all guest queries, compliments and complaints in a timely, polite and professional manner over a variety of platforms providing accurate information.

Utilising teamwork to complete all shift tasks and take accountability for updating reservations, preparing info for day ahead/next day.

Responsible for taking all payments and processing in the Opera property management system.

Reconciliation of daily banking against card machines and Opera system.

Part-Time Maintenance Assistant

We are looking for someone that has practical experience and knowledge of joinery and plumbing to carry out repairs and general maintenance of our Hotel Bedrooms and Public Areas.

Are you:

Motivated customer friendly individual
Do you have an eye for detail
Are you self-motivated
Do you have the ability to confidently work independently

We will help organise supplies, plan and schedule the maintenance for you.

A driving license would be an advantage. We are looking for approximately 3 days a week, 8 hours per day with the flexibility to work Saturday and Sunday if necessary to meet the needs of the business.
