Bar Team Leader

You are a warm and friendly person.  Your role as Bar Team Leader is to run the day to day operation of the bar. The position entails the supervision of the bar staff and ensuring that the bar service complies with licensing regulations. A high level of customer care and efficient service must be paramount at all times.   Your main responsibilities will include:

• To run the day to day operation of the bar, including the supervision of the bar staff.
• To assist with staff training during the course of normal duties and at designated training sessions.
• To be responsible for ensuring the bar is always fully staffed, providing cover for staff sickness as required.
• To serve customers in an efficient and friendly manner, ensuring that the customer care policy is adhered to at all times, and in the absence of the Duty Manager, resolving any problems.
• To ensure that all alcohol sales are properly supervised and that the alcohol licence is adhered to at all times.
• To assist with ordering stock by monitoring bar stock levels and cleaning supplies.
• Most importantly recognise regular guests at the Palace Hotel Brasserie and Lounge and you must enjoy talking with them.

Restaurant Team Leader

You will be a warm and friendly person.  You will be responsible for supporting the food and beverage operations of the hotel, maintaining consistently high standards of service and exceeding customer expectations at all times. You will have drive and a great understanding of working as a part of a large team covering restaurant, meetings and banqueting operations. You will possess an outgoing customer service oriented personality. You will be able to supervise a team of 10 - 15 and have the drive and commitment to succeed in a fast paced challenging environment.  Your Main Responsibilities include:

• This position supervises and coordinates the activities of dining room staff to ensure each customer has an outstanding experience.
• Effective communication, maintaining Restaurant cleanliness, and having a positive attitude are essential elements.
• Managing the day-to-day operations of the Restaurant Serving Breakfast-Lunch-Dinner and oversee the overall satisfactions of guests.
• Staff training and implementation of operational standards.
• Preparing guest bills and most importantly talking to our guests.
